Troubleshooting

IE 10 - Compatibility Mode to IE 8

IE 11 - Compatibility Mode

Mobile Error (and you are not using a mobile device)

 

Answers:

 

 
Set compatibility mode in IE 10 to IE 8
  • Go to your browser and select the Gear Icon (Tools)
  • Under the tools menu select Developer tools (this screen will appear under your webpage)
  • On the top line you will see Browser Mode IE10. Change to Browser Mode IE8
  • Close the Developer Tools window

 

 
Set compatibility mode in IE 11 for current site
  • Press ALT + T when viewing your SharePoint page
  • Click Compatibility View Settings in the menu that appears
  • Click Add to add the current SharePoint site to your list of compatibility view pages
  • Click Close (to dismiss dialog window)
  • Close all instances of Internet Explorer, open a new window and try again

  

 
Verify setting in Internet Explorer for Trusted Sites and Cookies:

 

1)      Add , *.ellucian.com to your Trusted Sites 
2)       Please make sure you are allowing for cookies.  If this is an issue for you, below is a way to accept cookies from Ellucian:
To block or allow cookies for Specific Websites:
·         Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
·         Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
·         Click the Privacy tab, and then move the slider to a position between the top and bottom so you are not blocking or allowing all cookies.
·         Click Sites.
·         In the Address of website box, type a website address, and then click Block or Allow.
As you type, a list of webpages that you have already visited will be displayed. You can click an item in the list and it will be displayed in the Address of website box.
·         Repeat step 5 for each website you want to block or allow. When you are finished, click OK.
·         Move the slider back to the position it was originally in, and then click OK
